you to assist seniors with the move to the next phase of their
lives!
Our
3-Day Senior Life Transition Professional Workshop is
designed to provide you with another service to add to your business
- and one that will only become more and more important
as Baby Boomers move into their retirement years and beyond. Our
Certificate Program has been approved by the Commissioner of
Higher Education for the State of Connecticut, which ensures
your training meets the high standards set for private occupational
schools.
Through reading, discussion, videos, and role plays, this
workshop provides you with the information you need to learn how to assist
your senior clients and their families during this important phase
of their lives.
During this workshop you will learn:
- How to understand the senior client, enabling you to approach,
communicate, and work with them comfortably.
- How to help your senior client transition from their current
home into smaller quarters, assisted living, or long-term care
- or to age in place.
- Necessary safety precautions to consider when working with
seniors, including space/floor planning, lighting, moving considerations
- and so much more!
- How to add this special service for seniors to your current
business, or start a new business.
- The key steps in marketing this new service.
But that's not all. At the end of the training, you will
receive a Certificate of Completion as a Senior Life Transition
Professional, as well as one-year free membership in
the National
Association of Senior Move Managers, the only professional
association in the country dedicated to helping the rapidly
increasing 55+ population with middle and later life transition
issues. You
will continue to receive on-going support from the School of Interior
Redesign whenever you would like as you embark on your exciting
new career. You are also able to join the Association
of Design Education, which will continue to provide you the
on-going educational support you will need as you start and grow
your business.

To Enroll in the Three-Day Senior life Transition Professional
Workshop:
Cost for this 3-day Senior Life Transition
Professional Workshop held in Milford, Connecticut
is $1,995, which includes all
of the above, as well as beverages and snacks each day. A
$500 deposit is required to reserve your space in the program. The
balance is due two weeks before class begins.

cost is $2,750 per student, with a minimum of four students. For

To reserve your space in a 3-day Senior Life
Transition workshop offered by the School of Interior Redesign,
complete the Application and
submit, along with your deposit of $500. The
balance is due two weeks prior to the start of class.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund will
be given if the student cancels ten days prior to the first day
of class. A 75% refund will apply if the student cancels
at anytime after the ten day cancellation period. No refund
will be given after the start of classes. However, should
a student need to cancel or leave due to an emergency, the tuition
will be applied to another scheduled class. Refunds will
be mailed to the student within fourteen days of cancellation.
